In this live session you’ll get explanations about a way to sketch roses and will do exercises to practice it. Then you’ll see a step by step demo of sketching roses from a pencil drawing to final details. You also will have time to paint your own picture.

The class may be interesting both for beginners and advanced artists who never stop improving their technique.

Strong drawing skills are not required.

Materials:

Maria will use these materials in the class:

Paper:
- Arches 300 gsm, cold pressed 100% cotton 19x28cm
paper for exercises and color tests

Brushes:
- Synthetic, natural or mixed brushes numbers 2-6

Colors:
- Aureolin
- Rose madder lake
- Neon pink
- Green
- Emerald green
- Paynes grey
- Naples yellow
- Ultramarine blue

Other:
- Plastic or wooden/carton tablet
- Pencil and eraser
- Paper towels
- Paper adhesive tape (optional)
- Plastic or ceramic palette
- Water
