Course description

Inspired by her recent hiking and sketching trip to the French Alps, Maria will teach you her tips and tricks for painting summer mountains, paying particular attention to the palette and color blends. 

With the teacher's guidance this complex work will be split into doable steps. You’ll see a demonstration of every step and will get the instructions for better process understanding. You also will have time to paint your own picture.

Please prepare the stencil before the course.

Materials

Paper: 
- Arches: 100% cotton paper, cold pressed, 300 gsm (you can take any other paper with the same characteristics), 21x27 cm

Watercolors:
- Aureolin, Sennelier
- Rose madder lake, Sennelier 
- Green, White nights
- Cobalt Turquoise, Sennelier (optional)
- Phthalo green, Rembrandt 
- Indanthrene blue, Sennelier
- Dioxazine purple, Sennelier
- Burnt Sienna, Sennelier

Brushes:
- Goat flat brush 3 cm or any wide flat natural brush for moistening the paper (optional)
- Round squirrel / squirrel mix / squirrel imitation brush (6-10 mm fits well)
- Small (about 3-6 mm ) round synthetic brush for details  (mixed / imitation / natural will do this job as well)

Other:
- Plastic or wooden board
- Cup of water
- Paper towels
- Masking tape
- Pencil and eraser
