Course description

On the example of this plot you will learn how to write very light watercolor, get the basic tricks and techniques that you can easily apply in future practice. 

Anna will tell you about the necessary materials, watercolor techniques and will paint the work with detailed explanations of the process from pencil drawing to the last stroke of the brush. 

The course consists of theoretical and practical parts.

Requirements

Brushes

  • brush with natural hair (no. 8-14 )
  • synthetic brush (for the main work, no. 5-8)
  • flat synthetic brush (for wiping paint)

Watercolor paints
«White nights» or paints in tubes:

  • cadmium red
  • cold red (eg carmine)
  • ocher / neapolitan yellow
  • burnt sienna / red ocher
  • iron oxide red
  • ceruleum (I have van gogh)
  • ultramarine
  • emerald (or “cobalt turquoise” 509 schmincke)
  • sepia
  • indigo
  • Violet
  • olive
  • cadmium orange

Watercolor paper

  • saunders Waterford grain fin 300g 
  • fabriano artistico grain fin 300g (я пишу на ней)
  • arshes grain fin 300g
