Course description

You will learn to create modern and stylish pictures in combination of printing with oil and watercolor in this online course. In addition to the basic knowledge of watercolor you will learn the "Lithography for the kitchen table" in simple, easy to understand lessons.

Starting from the basic information I will show you different creative ways to combine both techniques. I will show you how to transfer a newspaper print on a watercolor paper and how to combine this collage with structure paste and sheet metal.

Requirements

No previous knowledge necessary, also suitable for beginners.

Material:

Watercolor: satin or matt watercolor paper, watercolor paints, watercolor brush

Printing: Laser printing of the picture, 1 plexiglass plate, 2 pressure rollers, gum arabic, oil paint of your choice (e.g. magenta, black), linseed oil, stable plate for rolling out the oil paint, e.g. hardboard, aluminum foil, pipette bottles, plastic bowl, household sponge, scissors, spray bottle with water, tape, moist towels.

Collage: Acrylic binder, light structure paste, application milk, metal sheet, painting spatula, acrylic brush (e.g. Cat's Tongue size 10), soft, dry brush (e.g. squirrel hair brush, watercolor brush)
